Our detailed image slideshow of every exercise for every workout displays moving images, information, tips, muscles worked, with video advice for every single exercise so you are able to view and perfect each movement of the exercise.
With one click of a button you can add every workout, meal, & goal for each day, for any length of time. Select a day you want to start working out. Click "ADD WORKOUT" and the system automatically updates your entire workout plan for the month on the days you wish to workout.
Keep track of all your workouts from the convenience of your mobile device. View all the programs and exercises just as you would from your computer when you're on the go or at the gym.
The best way to keep motivated is to have your family, friends & colleagues keep you inspired to do great things as they already do in you day to day life. We found a way to have them do this with your training program as well. If you fail to track your workout then an email will notify them that you are slacking so be prepared to be accountable.
The Workouts In the Workout Trainer.com Website are all written by ME, Mike McErlane and a few from other top Industry experts such as Jim Stoppani, PhD, Eric Broser, Gunnar Peterson, Anthony Diluglio, Jonathan Williams and others.
When you create your account there are multiple Workout Categories.
The Custom Gym and Ball and Band ONLY Workouts in the Workout Section
The CUSTOM workouts are released every 30 days so that you have a workout to do each and every day, week and month. When you select either GYM or Ball and Band (home based workouts) these are the 2 categories of workouts that are released monthly and that are written specifically for the goals, ability, Sex and the lifestyle you chose at the beginning of becoming a member. It took me 8 years (and still going) to write all the workout plans for each of the 126 different profiles that exist. That means there are 126 different types of people when it comes to fitness and having a fitness goal. I wrote each of these workout so that you can reach goals quickly and efficiently.
You will never hit a plateau with the custom Training Plans
Every single one of the Custom workouts in Both Gym or At Home workout categories follows the correct laws of proper Periodization which means that you will gradually see strength and progression each week and each month without hitting a plateau.
The Use of Bands
With the overwhelming research supporting the use and integration of Strength Elastic Bands that I personally have seen and also that has been published in Peer Reviewed Journal from University Studies I incorporate the bands into each and ever program.
Does this mean you MUST use Bands?
No, it means that if you have them (which I highly recommend) use them. If not then you can easily substitute those exercises out with normal Barbell or Dumbbell exercises that simulate the same movement.
The Other Workout Categories
There are 2 main OTHER workout categories. The first one is the Lifestyle Specific (HIS, HERS, Hardcore, Over 50 and Sports Specific) workouts. In this section you will find non Custom Training Plans that are not necessarily written for YOUR goal, but written for a specific area of the body you want to train, or find plans that are from My Workout 101 and other videos on the website. I try to make sure that every video and article I write has an accommodating workout. This is the section where you can find all of those training plans
The RAW workout Category is where you will find all of Jim Stoppani's Workouts that he recommends that go hand in hand with each of his M&F RAW! Videos he shoots and features on Muscle & Fitness.com.
The cool thing about these workouts is that if you are unfamiliar with a certain Workout you can easily click on the exercise in the workout and have a detailed description, with animation and most with Video instruction of exactly how to perform and perfect each movement. For ease of use you can SEARCH any exercise in the database of 1,500 exercises to get proper instruction of how to perform each movement correctly

I watch a lot of fitness exercise videos on YouTube and other places, and have to say these videos are very well done, probably the best I've seen anywhere. The directions are easy to follow and explaining variations of a movement that may not be correct is also beneficial. I have probably gotten more out of the crush press for the chest exercise than any of the videos, but have learned about correct form on many others.

Mike, your workout 101 videos are fantastic. You explain everything in detailed way that always makes sense. I really like how you incorporate bands into many of the movements. I really like yor videos i've been lifting off and on for about 35 years. and sometimes you need to to go over stale routines and exercises, and even the movements themselves, sloppy lifting only gets you hurt. they are daily reminders for me that tell me control the weights don't let them control you. thanks again mike

Mike I had my first gym session on payasugym yesterday so no induction,with your 101 workouts I felt totaly confident that I had good form,you explane things really well and I feel not only do I know how but also why after watching your 101s.
