Muscle building a 46

Is it possible to build muscle and stay lean, if so how?. I’m a 46 yr old male and my matabolism isn’t like it used to be.

I also work midnight shift so my morning workout starts about 2 in the afternoon. Is there a meal plan for this type of routine?

Steve, 46 is not that old in the Bodybuilding work… I am not too far behind you (39) and I am still making gains. I actually thik lifting will help keep the metabolism moving – but we both know you can’t turn back the clock!

As for your hours… it is not that different than “normal” people. Don’t eat too much before you go to sleep, protein all day, several smaller meals, plenty of water, etc.
