trap bar squats

if i use 10 and 25 pound plates while doing squats with a trap bar, will this help to tone and build up my legs and lower body??

It will help, sure. The truth is that a Trap Bar Squat is more like a dead lift than a squat – not that this is good or bad. Your legs will most likely not get worked 100% so make sure this is not all you are doing for legs and you should be fine!
