Changing my body

I am working hard on losing weight and getting in shape. I am 48 years old, 197 pounds, 5'6". I have lost 30 pounds since 1/6/11 with weight watchers and the gym. I am doing 30 minutes of cardio and weight training 3 days on, one day off, each body part twice weekly. I am trying to eat lots of fruit and vegetables, and some protein every 3-4 hours. Am I doing this correctly? How much protein should I be eating, don’t want to overdo it. Are there any other things I should be doing?

to gain muscle have at least one gram of protein per every pound that you weigh. That is great that you did well on the program—why fix it if it’s not broken?
