weight loss- Cardio vs weight training


I hope this message finds you doing well. I am 5'7 and weigh 245 lbs, I have been to the doctor and besides being obese, Im in good health, no high blood pressure or any of that. I generally eat very clean but I had a couple of family tragedies and was stuck at the hospital 24/7. My question is with being so heavy should I start out with cardio and lose down some before I start weight lifting or should I start wl for 4 weeks clean up my diet and then start cardio. Thanks all help is appreciated.

Absolutely not! You will lose faster if you dive with both cardio and resistance training at the same time.
