Pre-Menstrual Tim

I’m sure most women go through this, but it seems during that time of the month or even prior I tend to gain water weight like no other and feel bloated for at least 2 weeks. I drink about a gallon of water on a daily basis and my diet is pretty clean. I average about a 1200-1400 calorie diet. Are there any tips that can help keep from being so bloated? Should I continue the intake of a gallon of water and possibly take a diuretic? Any tips would be helpful. Thank you!

2 weeks is a long time to be bloated! It is usually is a few days before and the first few days during. On those critical days, lower salt and carbs from your diet. Green tea and asparagus make great natural diuretics.
