tricep engagement during bench pressing

now matter which type of presses i do (dumbell or barbell press)i seem to always have more recruitment of tricep muscle on left arm . i suspect the problem lies in my grip position or maybe i am holding the weight closer to my chest on the left side without realizing it . i enjoy destoying my triceps to new growth, just not on chest day. friendswood tx

Sometimes there is always a more dominant arm pressing where that one arm always comes up first. Even though you use Dumbbells if your pressing together the same strength imbalances can apply. I covered this in one of my workout 101- episodes. click here
