The Barbell Front Squat is a version of the squat that places a different muscle group to take the majority of the load from the movement. The Back squat places more emphasis on the glutes and the hamstrings, yet the front squat help to develop more quadricep development. If you are looking to get a tear drop effect in your front quads then you cant go wrong with the Front squat.
