Reverse Hamstring Curl

The reverse hamstring curl is an advanced movement which should only be performed by individuals with enough strength and muscle control that they understand how to perform this exercises correctly.

The benefit here is that the fulcrum or moving arm is reversed as the body is moving rather than the lower part of the leg as in a regular machine leg curl. Because the body is moving it places a completely different load on the lower part of the hamstring near the knee rather than up near the glutes as with regular machine hamstring curls.
